Looks like it is time to update your version of PlayOn if you haven’t done so already. They keep dropping down the trial period. It now sits at 21 days after you run the install if you just got into the beta. Other changes noted are for performance, bug fixes, and a few other minor things.

As a follow up to my PS3 2.50 firmware post,it looks like there are some really nice additions to this firmware. In my testing phase, I have noticed nothing different for my streaming programs. I tried Medialink and Twonkymedia. Both loaded up perfectly fine. But there is more to meets the eye with this firmware update. I have a few photographs of some of the new features in action and they do work perfectly fine with local media playback.
